Arrangements of Dawat-e-Iftar: Rs.4.00 Crores sanctioned for Ramzan 2015 Iftar arrangements disbursed to 100 GHMC-area mosques, 95 other mosques and 6 orphanages; distribution of Ramzan gift packets.
Arrangements of Dawat-e-Iftar
It is pertinent to state that for the current financial year i.e., 2015-16 the Govt., have sanctioned and released an amount of Rs.4.00 Crores (Rupees Four Crores Only) for arrangements of Dawat-e-Iftar during the Ramzan 2015 under the Head of Account: 2225-80-800-11-41-500-503 and same was disbursed to (100) Mosques in GHMC Area Mosques and (95) Mosques in other than GHMC Area in (9) Districts of Telangana State each Rs.2.00 Lakhs and Rs.97,800/- has been disbursed to (6) Orphanages.
Distribution of Gifts — Iftar
The Government of Telangana hosts Iftar Party for state and distributes RAMZAN Gift Packets on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr every year.
